Wrestling Empire as a whole doesn't feel like anything more than a paid update to Wrestling MPire.Ĥ)No Online Play - You'd think with such an emphasis on multiplayer on the store page, the game would have Online play? Nope, only shared/split screen support. Same gameplay, textures, models, sounds and events.

Wow.Ģ)Lack of Modding Support - Wrestling MPire from 2008 let you modify it to your heart's content, infact all of MDickie's old PC games were fully modifiable. Manage to sign onto a brand? Have them demand you take a paycut right after you sign a contract or be fired. Want to sign up for a particular wrestling brand? Nope sorry, you'll be lucky if any brand approaches you at all.
Want to pay off a referee for an important match, buy steroids for quick gains or hire someone to beat up your opponent? Pray to RNGesus that a referee/dealer/wrestler randomly approaches you. Perform two finishers in a row on a super low health opponent and try to pin? They'll just get up on the first count.

You're at full health and your enemy is at 0? They make you submit in a few seconds thanks to RNG submission. Spent a long time working on the outfit of your character? The game forces you to adopt a random new one for no reason. Win every match and super popular? Sorry, but the boss randomly decides you're too good so you're fired. It doesn't matter how good or bad you play, if the RNG isn't with you then you're screwed. Again, this has been an ever-present issue in the 3D MDickie games.Ħ) Camera is still bad - Despite giving you so much different camera options, the camera is still your number #1 enemy as it has been in most MDickie games.ġ)RNGesus - Why does MDickie persist in using so much RNG in his games? It's been a constant source of annoyance and complaint throughout the years by the community. And then there are times when a punch or kick from a foot away will register and hit someone.

I haven’t heard of one but the tutorial does a good job of explaining the controls.This game has too many glaring issues both new and old(from it's 2008 predecessor) for me to recommend it.ġ) RNGesus - Why does MDickie persist in using so much RNG in his games?
